Astrid | A balanced conversation between straight lines and soft curves

Stéphanie Kasel Interiors design studio signs the partial renovation of a splendid contemporary villa nestled on the shores of Lake Geneva.

When we discovered this contemporary house with strong lines, our customers wanted to refresh certain elements that had aged badly and that did not meet the needs of the family.

Thus, we intervened in the master suite, the guest shower room and optimized a large part of the storage space in the house.

In the master bathroom, the old jacuzzi tub was out of breath and the bathroom had no storage. Very beautiful but…. Not practical at all.

Thus, we first redesigned the bathroom-shower, resolved the humidity concerns and partitioned this open space a little by creating custom fittings in dark oak to provide storage and comfort with the small dressing table that we integrated into the bathroom.

A custom-made glass door was designed to keep the natural light sources but offer a little privacy to this room which was previously completely open.

Of course, as we like to do, we imagined additional storage that today gives the impression of having always been there!

The straight lines of this space blend harmoniously with the round elements of the decor. The angles are softened by the curves of the round mirrors and the pretty shape of the bathtub.
A balanced conversation between elegant lines and soft curves.

Finally, we dressed the bedroom in a dark blue, designed pretty bespoke bedside tables, installed sorely lacking reading lights and voila!

We started the project with the main bathroom and our mandate then extended to the entrance where we created a cloakroom area and added in the double height this fantastic round mirror, 1.5 meters in diameter.

The "wow" effect is guaranteed! Welcome!
